A summer worship schedule begins May 29 (Memorial Day weekend) through September 4 (Labor Day weekend) with a single worship time at 9:00 a.m.
Every Sunday includes a children’s message and a wonderful “children’s church” experience with caring adults within the worship hour. Through the summer weeks the worshipping community will be drawn in around the theme, “Join the Mission! – a summer series excursion” and will consider how personally and together we can play a part in God’s mission in our world.
Many musical gifts are offered through these summer Sundays for the purpose of worship. On one Sunday you may experience a more contemporary style, while on another the more traditional Lutheran liturgy and hymns. Various styles contribute to make moments of worship together both rich and meaningful.
Praise the Lord.
Praise God in his sanctuary;
praise God in the mighty heavens. Praise God for God’s acts of power; praise God for his surpassing greatness. Praise God with the sounding of the trumpet, praise God with the harp and lyre, praise God with timbrel and dancing, praise God with the stringsand pipe, praise God with the clash of cymbals, praise God with resounding cymbals.
