Regular Worship Schedule During the School Year

During the school year, Christ Lutheran Church offers two different worship experiences, tailored to what you and your family need.

The Contemporary Worship Service at 8:30 am offers a contemporary look and feel. The music style, worship elements and everything about service reaches out to busy families. They can worship with their family, and still have time to meet their kids’ scheduled commitments.

The Traditional Worship Service speaks to those who want to take it easy on Sunday mornings, sleep in, ease into their day, and then attend worship at 10:15 am. This worship has a traditional feel, reflected by familiar hymns, accompanied by the Adult Choir and Bell Choir. It’s for those people who want to re-connect with the type of worship they grew up with. It will be a time of familiar music, liturgy and song, with a message geared toward their life challenges.

Visitors can get an idea of what to expect, a statement of the tenets of communion, and a brief explanation of the cycle of readings.

Christ Lutheran Church offers a nursery, Children's Church, and Sunday School.

  • The Saturday Morning Bible Study meets in the church library at 9:30am.  The discussion can be lively and good natured, but learning always takes place.

The Sunday Morning Bible Study meets at 7:30am in the library. They are currently comparing the Passion stories in the four Gospels.

The Thursday Evening Bible Study covers many bible related topics. They are currently reading the book "Pastrix". This small group meets at 7pm at the Bucholz home twice a month.

Women Who Brunch meets the 3rd Saturday of each month for brunch and Bible/Book Study from 10am until noon. The subject for this year is Red Letter Living.
